President Andrea Wilson joined 36 other women in a groundbreaking conference titled Women in High Places: Leading the Global Challenge of Hepatitis and Liver Cancer Control. The conference took place at the Barclay Intercontinental Hotel in New York City, where female leaders from around the world met to discuss the challenges of viral hepatitis and liver cancer. The women examined the issues from national, institutional, patient, and community perspectives. The conference was by invitation only, and Ms. Wilson was thrilled to be connected to other women who share her passion and dedication to eradicating liver cancer.
