President Andrea Wilson and Volunteer Elizabeth Marquez returned to ASCO’s annual meeting in Chicago. Blue Faery was honored to receive an ASCO-sponsored patient advocacy booth, which saves nonprofits hundreds of dollars in exhibit costs, for the second year in a row. During the conference, Andrea attended poster and oral abstract sessions focused on Hepatocellular Carcinoma; meetings with potential partners and funders; and press events including an interview with Cure magazine. On behalf of Blue Faery’s Board, Andrea thanks volunteer Elizabeth, who did a fantastic job of running Blue Faery’s booth, explaining our mission, promoting our activities and engaging conference participants.
