Chair of Medical Research Committee
After six years of loyal service, our current MRC chair Sherri Rose will be transitioning to Blue Faery's esteemed MRC Advisory Board. Thus we have a new opening to replace her former role as MRC chair. Ms. Rose will be aiding the transition of the newly appointed chair, whom we hope to find soon -- with your help! To fill this position, we need someone who
- Lives in California (preferably the Los Angeles area).
- Holds a degree in the health sciences -- a higher degree such as an MPH, MD, or PhD is preferred, but not required as long as you have a science background.
- Can perform the following duties (which typically do not exceed 6 - 8 hours per month):

- Communicate with doctors and other health care professionals with ease in many settings, including occasional mailings to treatment centers.
- Hold monthly meetings, which includes writing an agenda and keeping minutes. Meetings may be conducted in-person, by telephone, or via email.
- Report to the board of directors regarding MRC activities.
- Plan short and long-term goals and objectives for the committee.
